Tennis-racket instability of twisted electrons

We demonstrate that a weak nonlinear magnetic entrance edge induces a tennis-racket (Dzhanibekov) instability in the shell-resolved orbital pseudospin dynamics of twisted electrons propagating in a nominally uniform solenoidal field.
