Probing topology in thin films with quantum Sondheimer oscillations

Sondheimer oscillations (SO) are magnetoresistance oscillations occurring in thin films due to the commensurability between cyclotron motion and sample thickness, and are traditionally regarded as a purely semiclassical size effect.
