Polar Fidelities, Holevo Bases, and Unitary Factors of Generalized Fidelity

Motivated by several open problems in the Afham-Ferrie theory of generalized fidelity, we study polar fidelities, Holevo bases, and unitary factors on \( Pd \), the cone of \(d times d\) complex positive definite matrices.
