Defect Engineered 2D MoS2 Materials for ML-enabled Neurotransmitter SERS Detection

An attachment of catechol-containing neurotransmitter molecules is demonstrated on defect-engineered two-dimensional MoS2 platform, leading to activation of SERS due to molecular charge transfer.
